About Benny Blot
Hey there! I'm Ben Blotner, a 20-something freelance writer and aspiring novelist from Columbus, Ohio. My work has been published by the Wooster Voice, the Columbus Jewish News, and the Society for American Baseball Research. I've written one and a half novels, and I am looking to publish the first one in 2025. My passions include baseball, pop-punk music, travel, adventure, and cinema. I love the Boston Red Sox, Fall Out Boy, and the films of Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Yorgos Lanthimos. I'll be posting short stories, takes on various topics, and possibly some of my old published work. Expect a blend of dark comedy, pulpy crime, and scathing satire with an infusion of pop culture- and Internet-related humor.
