A snappy coming-of-age dramedy and love letter to emo music that dives into the angst of early adulthood.

Haggerty University is so emo, even the eyeliner wears eyeliner, and no one quite knows why. The college’s culture is dominated by a love for 2000s pop-punk music, with the biggest idol being lead singer Trevor Green of the iconic band Rise In Girl. When bumbling freshman Dexter pukes in front of Trevor at a concert, he’s sure his life is over, but he soon makes things right by winning over Trevor’s stunning daughter Callie. His journey, however, is just beginning. The fallout of Trevor’s messy past lands Dexter and his baseball-playing buddies in a whirlwind of fistfights, blackmail, and corruption, one they can only conquer by unleashing their inner rock stars.

A black comedy crime thriller that lampoons clout-chasing culture while paying homage to classic pulpy crime stories.

We all know reality TV has gone too far with humiliating people, but Sleeping with the Goldfish — the show — takes it to a whole new level. In a dystopian hellscape, murder has been declared legal if it’s in the name of entertainment. The Scarlet Spiders street gang runs the show and will stop at nothing to scar the contestants physically and emotionally, whether it’s through Chinese water torture, solitary confinement, or flat-out murder. Their rival gang, the Blue Nightmares — led by world-famous rapper La Pesadilla — infiltrates the show with a determination to right the wrongs done to them by the Spiders, only to enter a world of unspeakable suffering ... all for the sake of spectacle.
